I haven’t look at much hentai yet. When I did a search on Google, a few sites came up that looked interesting. I alaways do an image search on Google though. I don’t know if that makes a difference but that’s usually how I look for porn. I also did a search on deviant art. I can’t find anything that really catches my attention yet. I don’t think that mainstream hentai is art, but maybe there is some out there that resembles erotic art. Untill that day, it kind of all looks the same! Hentai and Anime and all those japanese style toons have been around for quite some time now. That’s probably because the little characters are so cute.
What’s the difference between erotic art and porn? September 30, 2008

Well, you can tell just by looking at it. There is porn out there that kinda looks like erotic art, but really it’s just drawn porn. If the art makes you horny before being bewildered it’s porn. Erotic Art makes you stop and look at it and figure it out, instead of making you want to cum. Basicly erotic art shouldn’t make you horny, it should just have sexy body parts in it.
Here is a website I stumbled upon with more erotic art then porn. It’s a blog by Smiles Davis. Enjoy!!

If you go to amourangels.com you will see that there is an array of hot young things posing in the nude. These pictures are of course labeled “erotic art” but when I look at them all I see is porn. Although the pictures are tastefully done, they have no deeper meaning other then to be cute naked chicks posing. Under the website name it says “Art of Angelic Seduction” and the girls are called models. I just don’t see it. The pictures don’t have any expression or symbolization. There are no metaphors. They are simply not art. Check it out fore yourself. If you can wack off to it then I guess you know what it is as well.
Body Art Not Art September 10, 2008

In my opinion, true art lasts the tests of time. Just ask the Mona Lisa and she’ll tell you it’s the truth. As beautiful as some tattoos are, they were drawn by an artist, but the customer dictates what they want drawn. True art is what ever the artist renders from their imagination into reality. When someone other then the artist says, I want you to make this for me, it becomes commercial. The artist can’t put all their emotion or talent into it. Tattoos are a good example of this fakery because they just fade over time and rot in the grave. The same goes with body paint. I’m sure you’ve seen those chicks with paint for clothes. (Technically they aren’t naked.) If you’re some poor sap working at an event that calls for naked chicks to be painted then it ain’t art. First of all because your painting what they want, not you, and secondly because it’s only on young naked hot chicks. Why not on old ladies? Art expresses someones emotions however ugly or terrifying they might be. It knows no boundaries or restrictions. It’s not something to be fitted into a mold. Can you do that with your emotions? They aren’t just some paint on a hot chick that’ll be washed off in a few hours.
Gratuitous Sex On TV September 2, 2008

It seems that all the shows on channels like Show Case are chalk full of sex violence and drama. Are these the things that make quality TV programming good? Or are they just to keep the ratings up? Well, let’s just analyze it for a second. When you are mindlessly flipping through channels like a zombie, what catches your eye and holds your ever depleting attention span the most? Nature documentaries? Dogs? Oh, I know. Home renovation.
What makes us stay on one channel the longest is always car chases, blood shed and tits. All of the highest rated shows on TV have these three important elements. SEX, VIOLENCE and DRAMA. When you think about it, these three things are used to sell just about everything. Attractive young people are on glossy magazines selling clothing, cars, makeup, cigarettes etc. How many obese people do you see on commercials? How many 80 year olds? Some of the things that used to define culture like music and literature have been spoiled by the naughty three. Sex and violence usually aren’t art unless they have some sort of political or social commentary.
We can say “Oh that’s terrible they shouldn’t put such things on air.” But it’s not the 50’s anymore. We’ve reaped what we can sow. In the 60’s people wanted social change. They wanted there to be a sexual liberation so that people wouldn’t be so awkward and afraid of the topic. In that time music drew masses of people. Accountants and lawyers got hold of music because they saw a real potential to make money. (where there’s people there’s money) Sex had become acceptable as a way to sell things, and boy did it ever.
Just like a car crash, It’s morbid but fascinating and we just can’t look away.
