Can digital porn be considered “real” porn? Some would argue that virtually anything can be pornography if the person viewing it sees it as such. That’s why it gets narrowed into the fetish category. As an artist, I sometimes create my own fantasy porn art, but I’m not sure sexual art can be created so well on a computer versus a traditional canvas.
I’m fascinated by the 3D Love Doll creations, however, because they are so life-like that they blur the boundary between what is real and imagined. It’s not just that they can be in sexual situations and positions that a real human could never do either. They are not the traditional 2D toon sex porn, as their detail makes them appear human. I can see the art in the dedication, but the porn is in the way you see it. This is a 3D Animation video called “Sexy Animation – Snakes On A Jane”. Many 3D animators consider themselves to be artists, but in a digital medium. I think this was well done, but to call it “Sexy” animation might be a wrong label. The woman DOES appear to be wearing sexy nylons, that we see as she’s eaten by the snake, but overall it might be seen as disturbing to some viewers. I’ll leave that for you to decide.
